2023-24 All-Arizona Girls’ High School Soccer Team

Here is The Republic's All-Arizona girls’ soccer team for the 2023-24 school year and coach of the year. The 12 players on the All-Arizona team also are nominees for The Republic's girls' high school soccer player of the year, which will be announced at the Arizona High School Sports Awards, sponsored by Diamond Kitchen & Bath, on June 17 at Arizona Financial Theater in downtown Phoenix. The show is produced in partnership with Western States Home Services. (Players are listed alphabetically, followed by honorable mentions.)

The Republic's All-Arizona Girls HS Soccer Team 2023-24

Paxton Bock, Sr., Scottsdale Notre Dame Preparatory: One of the most dynamic players in the state, she registered 36 goals and 12 assists as she was instrumental in the Saints’ winning the 5A state championship.

Katelyn Caballero, Jr., Gilbert Campo Verde: A midfielder who can do it all, Caballero scored 12 goals and had 11 assists for one of the top teams in 5A that made it to the state championship final.

Aria Cain, Sr., Queen Creek Casteel: Cain uses her electric speed to power past defenses. Scored 15 goals to go along with 6 assists for the Colts.

Caprice Chiuchiolo, Jr., Gilbert Christian: A threat from multiple levels of the field, she recorded 33 goals and 20 assists. Had the game-ending goal in the 3A state championship.

Cienna Gosewisch, Sr., Phoenix Desert Vista: A defensive midfielder who rarely loses one-on-one duals, also operates as a field general when on the ball. Scored 4 goals and chipped in 4 assists as the Thunder made a deep run in the 6A playoffs, reaching the semifinals.

Saydie Herbert, So., Gilbert Perry: An electric attacking option up top who can also create. Scored 10 goals with 13 assists for the Pumas, who earned the top seed in the 6A playoffs.

Lourdes Lauterborn, Sr., Phoenix Xavier College Preparatory: Had 13 goals and 6 assists for the state’s top team, which didn’t lose a single game the whole season (12-0-4) as the Gators won their fourth straight 6A title.

Kaimbrey Inman, Jr., American Leadership Academy West Foothills: Inman is not only the most dangerous goal scorer in the state, she’s also one of the top in the country – her 56 goals were tied for fourth-most by a prep player. Inman also had 21 assists for a total of 133 points on the season.

Kathryn Rueter, Sr., Chandler Hamilton: An intelligent player who makes pin-point decisions with the ball at her feet. Switched to center back midway through the season after playing as a wide defender, was pivotal in shutting down opponents throughout the 6A playoff bracket as the Huskies made it to the title game.

Sydney Snowden, Sr., Gilbert Perry: A dominating presence on the backline who presents challenges for even the state’s top offensive players, uses her field awareness to shut down opposing attacks. A big reason why the Pumas had a +30 goal margin.

Vivien Villarreal, Jr., Sahuarita Walden Grove: One of the most prolific goal scorers in Arizona who is a threat each time she touches the ball, scored 48 goals and tallied up 25 assists. Played a huge role in the Red Wolves winning the 4A state championship.

Kate Willmering, Sr., Phoenix Xavier College Preparatory: A stalwart in the net for the best defense in all of Arizona, only allowing 2 goals in the regular season. Saved 3 penalty kicks in the title game to help secure the win.
